Designed for kids ages 0-4 and their caregivers, Zumbini combines music, dance and educational tools for 45-minutes of can't-stop, won't-stop bonding and fun.
Classical form of dance focusing on body alignment, grace and precision of movement. Traditional barre work, center work with a focus on flexibility, athleticism and musicality is a large part of all ballet classes. *Pointe classes will be offered to students who are ready for the vigorous demands of pointe work-which is to be determined by the teacher.
3-4 years of age
Encourages freedom of movement, through imagination and expression, while teaching the basic elements of dance, rhythm, space and body awareness, and confidence through the use of games and props. By learning dance exercise, students will develop techniques that feel natural to them - giving them a positive and rewarding experience.
4-7 years of age
A great class for the beginners. We decided to create this class to teach the basics of ballet, jazz and tap to your youngest dancer - a 3-in-1 kind of class! This will lay down a strong foundation allowing your child to get a great amount of dance education but in a very fun way appropriate for their age!
Jazz/ Musical Theater
A fun dance style that relies heavily on originality and improvisation. Jazz dancing often uses bold, dramatic body movements, including body isolation and contractions. Ever evolving, Jazz dance is taught to allow dancers to come well rounded in styles such as Broadway Jazz, Musical Theatre and Modern Jazz.
5+ Years of Age
A high energy urban dance class using a variety of music including current sounds of rap, R&B and pop music. The large variety in style such as freestyle, poppin' and lockin', as well as breaking allow for students to find their own niche in an always evolving form of dance
Jazz It Up!
Jazz It Up! is a combination class for intermediate and advanced dancers to build on the fundamentals of Classical Jazz with added elements from Musical Theater and Jazz Funk.
Salsa/ Latin Ballroom
Born in New York with a Latin origin, Salsa style varies between street salsa and ballroom salsa.
A form of dance categorized by using the sound of the dancers feet as a percussion instrument. Tap focuses on intricate footwork and musicality. Students can expect to learn the development of tap technique - using all parts of their feet - and terminology to strengthen their skills. There are various styles of tap including Broadway tap and Rhythm tap.
A class focusing on the basics of gymnastics - including floor work and tumble track. Students should expect to gain confidence in working to further enhance their gymnastics skills.
